Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center Open to the Public!

On October 20th, Marble Fairbanks celebrated the opening of Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center with a special in-person and Facebook Live event. Karen spoke to the audience about the incredible community activism that served as the foundation for the project and made the library a reality. Brooklyn Public Library’s website touts Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center as a space that will, “serve as both a full-service library and a community hub for environmental awareness, activism and education.” Special thanks to Linda Johnson, the entire team at the Brooklyn Public Library, our immensely talented collaborators and the Greenpoint Community for your trust in us to lead the design of the library!
