Greenpoint Library Wins 2022 Architizer A+Awards Popular Choice Winner in the Libraries Category

We are proud to announce that our Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center has been selected as the winner in the Libraries Category of the 10th annual Architizer A+ Awards!

The Architizer A+ Awards is an annual awards program that celebrates design excellence worldwide. Now in its tenth year, the award has been following through on its aim to democratize architecture, and “honor the world’s best architecture and spaces,” recognizing some of the best firms in the world. This year, finalist projects have been selected by industry leaders Julie Eizenberg, Suchi Reddy, Germane Barnes, Irene Osei-Poku, and Fermin Tribaldos, among several others. Evaluated on a variety of criteria, projects were selected based on their embodiment of form, function, and impact.

With entrants from over 80 countries around the world, Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center was one of five library projects to be shortlisted for the Popular Choice vote. Category winners were ultimately decided via two weeks of online voting, which was open to the public.

We are truly honored to be recognized by Architizer and by all of those who voted for Greenpoint as the winner. We thank you for your continued support!
