We are pleased to announce that the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture‘s official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place this morning, October 16th, in the newly renovated main reading room.
Designed through NYC DDC’s Excellence Program, this project spans three connected buildings at the Schomburg Center: the Schomburg Building, Langston Hughes Building, and Landmark Building. Work undertaken consists of exterior and interior renovations throughout the Schomburg Center including historic preservation and renovation work of the Landmark Building by McKim, Mead & White and an addition to the Schomburg Building. Additions include the gift shop and conference room as well as interior renovations to multiple research divisions and gallery spaces.

Scott will be presenting and moderating a panel on The Future of Practice at the 2017 Digital Building Lab annual symposium on October 6, 2017 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. This theme of this years symposium is AEC Entrepreneurship, Creating the High Tech Building Economy and will feature speakers from all sectors of the AEC industry.
