Last Thursday, September 25, was the Grand Opening of Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center in the Bronx. After a ribbon cutting with Bronx Borough President, Ruben Diaz, Jr., Director Madaha Kinsey-Lamb led a wonderful program of musical and African dance performances. Students showcased their talents with poetry readings and performed excerpts from various theatrical productions. Community turnout was great and the new African art collection really enlivens the space.
Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in the neighborhood!
